Fall Sermon Series: The Parables of Jesus
This fall, we’ll explore one of Jesus’ most memorable ways of teaching: the parable. Together, we’ll learn how to read and understand these stories, explore the different kinds of parables Jesus used, and consider why Jesus chose to teach through parables in the first place. As we listen to these familiar, and sometimes surprising, stories, we’ll discover how they invite us to see God, ourselves, and the world around us in new ways. Come join us as we learn to listen more closely to the stories Jesus told and discover what they might have to say to us today.
